"Mommy, can I have it? Can I?"
Creative: How did you get started in crafting?

Alicia: I started making jewelry 15 years ago mostly for myself and as gifts for friends.

Creative: What are some of the things that inspire you?
Alicia: I later got married and was blessed with two little girls, who of course became my creative outlet, and inspired me to create my own children jewelry line called "Itsy Bitsy Bracelets!"
Tasty name!
Creative: Great name, I love it. What do you think would be the perfect project?

Alicia: Ahh, the perfect project... Good question - well I have been working on landscaping my back yard, and would love to see that finished!

(We have lived in our new home now for 3 years now and it’s still not done.)

Hula, hula...
Creative: Oh, yes- I know how that goes. :P
How long have you been selling on Etsy, and how long have you done what you do?

Alicia: I have been selling on Etsy since November of last year, I also sell on Artfire and my own site www.itsybitsybracelets.com .

Creative: Selling your work on Etsy, or online in general, can mean a lot of competition. Are you intiminated by this? Why or why not?

Alicia: Honestly, I love the fact that there are so many other Jewelry artist out there. Yes, it is hard on business, but I get inspired by what other people are doing. Which, was the inspiration behind my newest blog www.sweetnsimpledesigns.blogspot.com, which is full of Jewelry done by other Artisans. I love to see what others are working on!

Creative: Wonderful! Alicia has several lovely blogs for you to drop by- www.itsybitsybracelets.blogspot.com , www.thecutestshopsonline.blogspot.com , and www.sweetnsimpledesigns.blogspot.com!
